Lead Technician

Job Overview:

As a Lead Technician at Aspire Audio Video Solutions, you will play a vital role in leading the installation and technical operations of our luxury lighting and technology solutions. You will be responsible for overseeing installation projects, managing a team of technicians, and ensuring the successful execution of projects. Your technical expertise, leadership skills, and attention to detail will contribute to delivering high-quality installations and exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership: Lead installation projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and quality standards.
Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of audio, video, and automation systems, offering technical guidance and troubleshooting support to the team as needed.
Installation Execution: Perform complex installations, system configurations, and integrations, ensuring accurate implementation according to project requirements and specifications.
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality inspections and tests to verify the functionality, performance, and compliance of installed systems with industry standards and client expectations.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of installation activities, including as-built diagrams, system configurations, and project reports. Provide regular project updates to management and stakeholders.
Client Interaction: Interact with clients professionally, addressing any questions, concerns, or issues during the installation process. Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, sales teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project coordination and successful project outcomes.
Training and Development: Continuously enhance technical skills and knowledge by staying updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Provide training and guidance to technicians to foster their professional growth.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (required); relevant technical certifications or vocational training (preferred).
Extensive experience in audio, video, or technology installations, with a strong background in leadership and team management.
Comprehensive knowledge of audio, video, and automation systems, including installation, configuration, integration, and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and installation plans.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and quality.
Proven track record of successfully managing multiple installation projects simultaneously.
Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and address their needs and concerns.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
